This is my digital print in No War Exhibition in Korea. Made by part to part and joining with threads.
Talks about Indonesia - Chinese people in Indonesia.The story comes from artist personal life too.How in artist childhood, native Indonesia children yelling her, "Chinese, Chinese..!"
Talks about the different treat from the native Indonesia to Indonesian-Chinese. How they have different treat such make a new passport, visa, even Indonesian ID card.
This artwork purpose image it's to make the feeling of the artist want to be comfort and secure to be 100% Indonesian. As the shadow words say about the percentage of the material of clothes.The artist make it as percentage of the body of the artist.It's took from the artist parents hometown, the lining took from collage and work hometown where the artist now living.The artist questioning too about why only 1 % Chinese Blood in her body,she has to be different.Even the artist cannot talk Chinese language...

This installation concept is about sending messages to God. Everything that you want to talk to God, you can write on the letter and put it into the bottles. Including when you're mad, sad, happy, or you want to pointing God..!Or ask some more private questions, strange questions to God directly.

The audiences can free to participate to write down everything they want to talk to God and put it into the bottle. These bottles have variation wings and shapes, seems like they fly away to God. The basic idea is coming from urgent messages that someone send into the bottles for help,if he missing in unknown island.

The visual looks in this artwork is feminine, pop, and contemporary art color, because i'm want this artwork talks about freedom as teenagers or kids that they can ask anything.

The important things in this artwork is you can free to express any style or any words that you want God to hear. It can be private questions or ignoring questions about God.Just ask Him or Her directly...!Enjoy it..

This installation is collaboration artworks with me, Iswanto Hartono, and Irawan Karseno.

The concept talks about different meaning of abstract that made the gallery and the audiences become the parts of our artworks. This installation want to build another empty dimensions that you never feel before.

The audiences can enjoy the feelings while sitting in their chairs.
The red and blue colours lights make some different feelings when you become the parts of it.

Title : The Beauty of My Masks

This installation made by candles. These artworks talk about masks that everyone always have. It's mean we use it in different masks to meet different people.
I don't really like these masks, but i have to wear it.In the end of these artworks story is i burn all the masks and become pure candles.
The visual of these masks is in different color with holes in it. Fill with water and have small candles in it that burn out the masks.
It's a beautiful process to burn the masks from inside, seems like you have small power from inside that burn out your masks. Makes another color that beautiful and you can enjoy.

My painting start from daily words. In my pray and my private life. The secret words that I’m not used to talk to the public. Starts from playing words, fonts, colors to become more artistic. My deep expressions. Words that peoples not really understand. Mumbles, slogans, sang, melodies in my hearts.

I don’t want people thing that art is far away from human. Art for me is something to enjoy, beauty, fun not something too heavy for anybody.

It’s my honor if people who see my painting can enjoy it, can smile, feel happy, motivated, same as I feel while I painting it. Destroy my problems, routines. I can playing with public rules to explore it in my canvas. That’s only an icon that I play it. In our complicated words today, I hope there’s anybody who has pure heart. See light is light, beauty is beauty, simple is simple, not intended to disparage the meaning of beauty, simple, and light. That’s never be wrong to become a kid to see colour ,shape, form, icon can free to play for aesthetic. Refreshing from the world full of rules, hidden meaning, and suspicions.

When first I decide to be a painter, my folks told me to be an architect or a designer instead. Commonly, I guess...

Though, I choose my path as a painter. Yet I only do what I do and love best.....
And that's mean painting!




Born and raised in Palembang, Indonesia, have a great effect on me. I have grown as a person whose speak out my mind, and dare challenges. Come from a religious family, have made me want to know God more and more.....

It's reflect a lot in my art works. Not only paintings, often I explore another media too.....

The process of this artwork is from my performances that become a video-art and then display it in installation art. I make the storyboard and whole the plans and my friends help me to bring it up into artwork.


There are three part of action in the video-art :





First part is where I am a sad, frustration. A woman who become mad and more mad. Wearing a psycho outfit and struggling want to be free. Someone release me and I become really happy.

Part two; I am in the peace private room that I really enjoy it. I feel really comfortable and enjoy the space. I dance like I want, I sing like I want, I really enjoy it.

Then, it becomes really a daily routine and there is no meaningful anymore. And it has becomes ruined.
